Dai Davies

Some of you may remember Dai Davies (71-74) who helped with event security and turned out for the rugby team while at RHC.

Dai, who read English, finally reached his goal of becoming a novelist in 2011 with the publication of "V2 - A World War II Thriller". Now living in Nanjing, China, he set his second spy thriller, "The Storm Flower", against the background of the "Rape of Nanking", sometimes described as Asia's forgotten holocaust, which ensued when Japanese forces entered the city in December 1937. The book has now been translated into Chinese and will be published in China later this year.

People

This part of the site is for alumni of the College from around the 70s to tell us a bit about what they've been doing.

It will unashamedly let those who want to tell you about their music, books, plays etc as a means of promoting those activities. The criteria is that they should be an activity that they are involved in as an individual or as a key member of a small group.  It is not for any corporate or company promotions unless the alumni is the owner.

We're starting with a few alumni who have published books but hope that others will contribute material in other areas.
