• McCrea building

  Work on the McCrea Building started in the early 80's but it was not bought into full service until 1986. It housed the Computer Science, Mathematics and History departments. It was built between the Arts building and the Horton building. It is huge - you need to see the aerial picture to fully appreciate its size. The picture here, taken from the steps of the Horton building shows one of the wings of the three wing building

• Reid Hall

  Reid Hall was the first of the accommodation buildings to be put up after the Bedford merger. They were completed in 1986 and provided a total of 188 study bedrooms over three 3-story blocks. They were built on land near Athlone, Cameron and Williamson.

• Wilson Laboratory

  Another building started while some of us were still student's but not completed until 1986. The Wilson Laboratory is linked and connected to the Tolansky building and forms part of the Physics Department.
