The badges used at the reunion are designed to be help recognise other people as stangely we have all changed a little in the last 50 odd years. They are A6 in size so fairly visible even to eyes as old as ours,
The badges are colour-coded based on the first year you were a student - if someone has the same colour badge then they started in the same year as you - so always worth striking up a conversation with them as very often the sound of someones voice can bring memories flooding back. The badges will also include the subject of study and the name they had at the time. Wherever possible the badge will also have a photo from student days though some of these are inevitably difficult to come by.
In the Read More section is a copy of my badge and a chart showing the colours associated with each year group.
When you are looking at the badges of those attending then if you think you may have, or know of, a better picture of them then please let me know. It is always a delight to see the reaction of someone when confronted by their badge with a photo they didn't know existed. There are thousands of photos on the website now so always worth looking to see if one is available.
